Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hasan Çelik (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the Pawtrait AI mobile application (the “App”). By using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

The App is operated by Hasan Çelik, an independent developer. For any privacy question you can reach us at hasancelikjob@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

• Photos and images you provide. When you choose a photo to transform, that image is sent to our servers and to our AI processing provider solely to generate your result. We do not use your photos to identify you, we do not sell them, and we do not use them to train AI models.
• A random device identifier. The App generates an anonymous installation ID stored on your device. We use it only to keep track of your credit balance and the number of transformations you have made. It is not your name, email, phone number, or Apple ID.
• Purchase information. When you buy credits or a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple. We receive a confirmation (via Apple / RevenueCat) that a purchase occurred so we can add credits to your balance. We never receive or store your card or bank details.
• Basic technical and usage data. Standard information such as app version, general error/diagnostic logs, and rate-limiting data used to keep the service running and prevent abuse.

3. How your photos are processed

To create a transformation, your selected image is transmitted to our third-party AI provider (fal.ai) for processing. The resulting image is returned to you and may be temporarily hosted by that provider so it can be displayed in the App. We do not retain your original photos on our own servers after processing. You should only upload images you are comfortable processing through a cloud AI service.

3a. Face data

The App does not collect, store, or share face data. Photos you select (which may include a human or animal face) are used solely as the visual input for generating the stylized image you requested, in a single transient processing step performed by our AI provider (fal.ai).

• No facial recognition. We do not perform facial recognition or identification, and we do not create faceprints, facial geometry maps, biometric templates, or any other measurement derived from a face.
• No storage by us. Uploaded photos are not stored on our servers. They are relayed to the AI provider for processing and are not retained by us afterwards; the generated result may be temporarily hosted by the provider only so it can be displayed in the App, after which it is automatically deleted by that provider.
• No sharing. Photos are shared only with fal.ai, our AI processing provider, for the sole purpose of generating your requested image. They are not shared with any other third party, are not used for advertising, and are not used to train AI models by us.
• Retention. We retain face data for zero days — we never store it. Transient copies used during processing exist only for the duration of the generation request and the provider’s short-lived hosting of the result.

4. How we use information

• To provide the core service — generating AI image transformations;
• To manage your credit balance, purchases, and subscription status;
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the App;
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and excessive/automated usage;
• To comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• fal.ai — AI image generation (processes the photo you submit).
• Apple App Store — payment processing for in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• RevenueCat — purchase and subscription management.
• Render & MongoDB Atlas — application hosting and database.

These providers may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards.

6. Data retention

We keep your anonymous device identifier and associated balance/usage record for as long as the App is in use, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed. Original uploaded photos are not stored by us after your result is generated.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and Türkiye’s KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Because we identify records only by an anonymous device ID, we may ask you to provide that ID (available in the App) to action a request. To exercise any right, email hasancelikjob@gmail.com.

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
